We want every homeowner, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or voice control, to be able to learn about our work, read our guides and ask us for a consultation on this site.

How we build the site

We build and check ggsremodelingtx.com against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, levels A and AA. That includes:

• text and buttons with enough color contrast to read;
• a label on every form field and a clear status message after you send the form;
• menus, links and the form that work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link;
• text descriptions for meaningful images;
• pages that reflow on small screens and when you zoom in, without sideways scrolling;
• a button to stop the background video on the homepage, which also stays off when your device asks for reduced motion.

Some content comes from other companies, such as the Google Map on our Contact page and the video player, and we cannot fully control how accessible it is. Every address, phone number and project detail in that content is also written out on our pages.
